- Information on declarable substances should be shared by all the users who use the information communication scheme, chemSHERPA, in communicating information on ingredients. Thus, an appropriate range acceptable for the whole supply chain should be set.
- In terms of standardization, the number of examinations required outside of chemSHERPA will increase if the range of the substances is narrow. And the burden of organizing and managing information will increase if the range is too wide, resulting in disruption to information communication.
- For chemSHERPA, the current management criteria were set after careful consideration. However, they are not the final version. We recognize that it will be necessary to review them periodically so as to set an appropriate range for declarable substances by watching the trend of laws and regulations and industry standards, and based on requirements from supply chains.
