世界各国からの日本IPへのさらなるニーズの高まりを受け、今年は映像化の原作権を持つ出版各社に、リメイク権を持つ映像制作会社も加わり、日本のマンガ・小説などの出版物、さらにリメイク権など取り扱いIPを拡大、「Tokyo IP Market: Adaptation & Remake」として進化します。リブランディング初となる今年は、大手出版社・映像制作会社6社が参加。TIFFCOM事務局がTIFFCOMに来場する海外の映像プロデューサーとのマッチングを行い、対面の商談機会を設けることで、日本のIPによる新たな映像作品の製作をサポートします。
In response to growing demand for Japanese IP from around the world, this year, visual content production companies with remake rights will join the publishers holding the adaptation rights, expanding the range of IP handled, including Japanese manga, novels, and other publications, as well as remake rights, evolving into "Tokyo IP Market: Adaptation & Remake." This year marks the first year of the market's rebranding, with six major publishers and production companies participating. TIFFCOM will match overseas producers attending TIFFCOM and set up face-to-face business meetings to support productions of new visual content works based on Japanese IP.
