If you are fishing with heavy weights or high torque, you can use Bellhammer oil or grease for maintenance.
However, if you are fishing with light weights or light torque, the oil or grease itself may weigh you down.
In such a case, first apply oil or grease as usual, then tighten the drag to the point of line break and pull the line out several meters repeatedly.
This will cause friction in the spool, level winder, and gears, and the metal itself will change to a state where it can be lubricated. After that, the oil and grease are cleaned and dried.
Even without oil or grease, the gears will not be damaged and will be able to move more smoothly than before, and the line will come out smoothly even when using a drag to interact with fish.
