Regarding fishing tackle reels, is it safe to apply bell hammer to the felt or carbon parts of the drag?

Please be assured that there is no particular harm in using our LS Bell Hammer Grease No. 2.
The only thing that can be done is to change the drag setting (e.g. 22 to 23 notches if the tentatively named 0.8 kg is 20 notches).
