Usability
LS Bell Hammer concentrate is formulated as an engine oil additive but can also be used in manual transmission oil to enhance lubrication, reduce metal wear, and improve durability.
However, it must not be used in the 30-series Prius, which uses an e-CVT (electric continuously variable transmission). The e-CVT combines an electric motor and a planetary gear system and requires Toyota’s specified fluid such as ATF WS. Adding LS Bell Hammer could affect performance and longevity. Always use the manufacturer-specified oil for Prius e-CVT systems.
Dosage guideline
When used in engine or manual transmission oil, add about 5–10% of the total oil volume.
Summary
