As you mentioned, the method of applying and blending Bell Hammer Gold first and then sealing in Bell Hammer Metal Grease is a very logical and high-performance tuning method.
Bell Hammer Gold forms a chemical film on the friction surface of the metal, which is then adhered to and held in place by Bell Hammer Metal Grease, maintaining a high level of lubricity, wear resistance, and heat resistance.
The result is, as the customer says, “the strongest bearing”.
As an additional point, please be careful about the amount of grease you fill the bearing with to prevent heat generation and grease splattering due to high speed rotation.
If too much grease is filled, the rotational resistance will increase, which may cause temperature rise and load on the seal.
Although it depends on the rotation speed and usage conditions, the ideal filling amount is about 30-50% of the bearing interior.
Even with double-sided seal types, periodic inspection and resealing of grease is recommended for high-speed rotating tools.
