Suzuki Kiko currently has no plans to sell a dedicated product for “pug oil for automotive air conditioners (with Belhammer additive).”
The lubrication system for automotive air conditioners must meet the following highly sensitive technical requirements.
• Solubility and stability with refrigerants (such as R134a, R1234yf, etc.)
• Effects on rubber and resin seals (swelling, degradation, etc.)
• Chemical stability under sealed, high-pressure circulation conditions
• Effects on compressor lubrication and thermal conductivity
As you pointed out, general extreme pressure lubricants such as molybdenum disulfide may have corrosive effects on rubber components, making careful judgment necessary in maintenance settings.
Given this background, developing an air conditioner-specific lubricant based on Bellhammer requires significant time and advanced evaluation tests, and it has not yet been practicalized at this stage.
However, the request to introduce a high-performance lubricant into the air conditioning system for those who already use Bellhammer is a very important hint for the development department.
The opinions received will be shared internally as a reference for future product planning and technical considerations.
While we regret that we cannot provide a clear release schedule at this time, such feedback is the driving force behind new challenges, and we sincerely appreciate it.
