The X-MAX 250 is a water-cooled, single-cylinder scooter equipped with a CVT (continuously variable transmission) and a small to medium displacement engine. The most suitable additive for this structure is “Bell Scooter.”
“Bell Scooter” was developed specifically for the characteristics of scooters and has the following features.
• Specialized for wear and heat management in small and medium-displacement engines
• Suppresses heat generation and metal wear in CVT-equipped vehicles
• Improves acceleration response and reduces noise
• Zinc- and phosphorus-free design gentle on catalytic converters (uses ADTC components instead)
On the other hand, “Bell Hammer 7” is a versatile product suitable for a wide range of applications, including both two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles, and can handle sports bikes and high-load environments. However, for CVT-structured scooters like the X-MAX 250, “Bell Scooter” is more optimized and thus more effective.
【Addition amount guidelines】
Since the engine oil capacity is 1,600cc, please use the following as a guideline:
・5% addition: approximately 80cc
・10% addition: approximately 160cc
Even during regular oil changes without filter replacement, it can be used safely within the 5–10% range.
Therefore, we recommend using “Bell Scooter” for the X-MAX 250.
