Cleaning effect
Bell Hammer is an additive specialized in extreme-pressure lubrication and metal surface protection. It does not primarily remove or disperse sludge inside the engine. Its purpose is to reduce metal wear, lower engine noise, and improve smooth acceleration.
SOD-1 Plus, on the other hand, uses an ester base to remove sludge and carbon deposits with strong cleaning and dispersing performance. They serve different roles.
Combination use
Using Bell Hammer and SOD-1 Plus together has not shown major issues under normal conditions. However, please keep in mind:
・Do not overdose either (each within 5–10% of total oil)
・At first use, carefully monitor oil condition and engine sound
・Separating the timing of cleaning and lubrication improvement makes effects easier to distinguish
Since their purposes differ, a step-by-step approach such as cleaning → drain → lubrication enhancement is also effective.
