For manual transmissions, LS Bell Hammer concentrate is recommended. It forms a strong lubricating film on metal surfaces, reducing wear and gear noise while providing smoother shifting.
Usage
・During oil change: Add 5–10% of LS Bell Hammer concentrate to the specified gear oil.
Example: For 2 L of gear oil, add 100–200 ml of additive.
・For existing oil: Add up to about 5% of the total volume.
*Always use the manufacturer-specified base gear oil (e.g., GL-4 or GL-5).
Effect and notes
Adding LS Bell Hammer concentrate can reduce metallic noise from wear and improve quietness and durability. However, if the gears or bearings are already significantly worn, the noise may not be completely eliminated.
