About the ingredients of the spray type and liquid type
Bell Hammer GOLD Spray and Liquid types share the same base lubricating ingredients, but their formulations differ based on intended use.
The spray type is designed for external applications, where it can be directly applied to moving parts. It includes volatile solvents, making it suitable for lubricating exposed parts such as chains, hinges, and link mechanisms.
In contrast, the liquid type is formulated for use as an additive in sealed systems such as engine oil and gear oil. It maintains stable lubrication performance even under high temperatures and pressure.
Therefore, if you are considering use inside the engine or in the final gear system, we recommend using the liquid type.
Regarding use with the Honda PCX125
According to our research, the Honda PCX125 uses a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with a V-belt, not a wet clutch system. There is no wet clutch inside the engine.
For this reason, you can safely add Bell Hammer GOLD (liquid type) to the engine oil without concern for clutch-related issues.
Additionally, the final gear, which transmits power to the rear wheel, uses dedicated gear oil. Bell Hammer GOLD can also be added to that.
Usage instructions:
Engine oil:
Product: Bell Hammer GOLD (liquid type)
Additive amount: 5–10% of total engine oil
Example: For 0.8L of oil, add 40–80ml
Expected benefits: quieter operation, improved starting, enhanced wear protection
Final gear oil:
Product: Bell Hammer GOLD (liquid type)
Additive amount: 5–10% of total gear oil
Example: For 100ml of oil, add 5–10ml
Expected benefits: reduced gear noise, wear prevention, improved lubrication
Notes:
The spray type is not suitable for internal use. Please use the liquid type.
Check oil level before adding to avoid overfilling.
