Since the brake system is directly related to vehicle safety, please follow the steps below carefully.
Cleaning the brake disc
First, thoroughly clean the disc surface using an automotive brake cleaner (or parts cleaner).
If there is any burned or baked-on grease, it may be necessary to wipe repeatedly with a cloth or clean multiple times.
Checking and replacing the brake pads
If grease has penetrated the brake pads, friction performance will drop significantly.
In general, we strongly recommend replacing the brake pads.
Evaluating the condition of the brake disc
If grease has burned onto the disc at high temperatures, a thin lubricating film may remain even after cleaning, and braking performance may not recover.
In such cases, replacing the brake disc itself may be necessary.
Since it is difficult to visually determine the presence of a residual film, if braking remains noticeably weak even after cleaning and pad replacement, we recommend replacing the disc for safety.
