Target Vehicles:
Honda Super Cub 50 (AA04 / AA07)
Honda Super Cub 110 (JA10 / JA42)
Honda BENLY 50 (AA03 / AA05)
Yamaha GEAR (UA08J)
Evaluation and Guidance:
Honda Super Cub 50 (AA04 / AA07)
Honda Super Cub 110 (JA10 / JA42)
These models are highly likely to use a wet clutch system. In such cases, we do not recommend adding Bell Hammer 7 or Bell Hammer Light to the engine oil.
Even in small displacement and low-torque vehicles, high extreme-pressure additives may affect the clutch, potentially causing slippage or malfunction. For safety reasons, we advise against use in these models.
Honda BENLY 50 (AA03 / AA05)
Yamaha GEAR (UA08J)
These are scooter-type vehicles equipped with a CVT (continuously variable transmission).
Drive system: V-belt CVT (centrifugal automatic clutch)
No manual gear shifting is required due to the automatic structure.
Therefore, the engine oil and clutch lubrication systems are separated, making the use of additives in the engine oil relatively safe.
In fact, when Bell Hammer 7 or Bell Hammer Light is added to the engine oil at 5–10%, users have reported the following improvements:
Reduced engine friction, leading to better fuel efficiency
Improved cooling due to lower internal friction
Smoother power delivery and better acceleration response
Additionally, adding the product to the final gear (rear drive system) may help reduce metal wear and improve noise control.
Recommendation:
While both Bell Hammer 7 and Light are effective, for scooters with CVT systems, we recommend our BELL SCOOTER series:
