Mixing with existing grease
Regarding the initial stage where some of the currently used molybdenum grease may mix with Bell Hammer Grease, our product is designed to be compatible with general molybdenum greases.
Therefore, even if the two greases temporarily mix during the early phase of switching, there is no immediate risk of problems.
That said, for optimal and stable performance, we recommend wiping off as much of the old grease as possible before applying the new product.
Recommended application areas and grease consistency
Bell Hammer Grease can be used for all moving parts of a wheel loader, including bushings, pins, arms, and shafts.
The recommended consistency is No.2 (NLGI grade 2), which offers good pumpability with standard construction grease guns, and provides a well-balanced combination of cold resistance and load durability.
Differences between Bell Hammer Grease and Bell Hammer GOLD Grease
Bell Hammer Grease No.2:
A standard model that combines high load resistance with smooth motion. It is suitable for everyday use, including snow removal operations.
Bell Hammer GOLD Grease No.2:
A high-grade model with enhanced extreme pressure performance and improved metal adhesion. It provides superior protection under harsh conditions, such as frequent cold starts or continuous heavy-load operation.
If you prioritize durability and performance in demanding environments, we recommend choosing the GOLD Grease.
