Bell Hammer Diesel is an engine oil additive specifically designed to address the high loads, elevated temperatures, and ash-forming characteristics typical of diesel engines.
It can also be safely used in gasoline engines, where it will still deliver excellent extreme pressure lubrication and wear-reduction performance.
However, compared to our gasoline-optimized additives such as Bell Hammer Seven or Bell Hammer Light, it may be somewhat over-engineered for gasoline engines due to its diesel-specific components (e.g., ash-related additives).
We recommend using your current supply of Bell Hammer Diesel without concern, and for continued use in gasoline engines, consider switching to one of our gasoline-specific products for optimal performance.
