Regarding your consideration of using "Bell Hammer Gold" during the engine overhaul of a Yamaha TZR250 (3MA), please refer to the following guidance:
■ Use inside the engine (combustion system)
In a 2-stroke engine, oil is supplied to and combusted within the combustion chamber. Therefore, we kindly ask that you refrain from using extreme-pressure lubricants like "Bell Hammer Gold" directly in combustion areas.
For reasons of combustibility, exhaust impact, and safety, please use oils specifically formulated for 2-stroke engines.
■ Use on sliding parts during assembly (non-combustion areas)
On the other hand, for non-combustion sliding parts during engine assembly (e.g., crankshaft bearings), partial application of "Bell Hammer Gold" is acceptable.
It offers excellent extreme pressure lubrication, helping to reduce friction and improve smoothness during initial movement.
