Thank you for your inquiry. Please find our response below:
- Can our product perform under the stated conditions (260–300°C, high load)?
Our "Bell Hammer" series is designed to lubricate, protect, and reduce noise in metal sliding components. Its effective operating temperature range is generally up to 180–200°C.
Therefore, in environments exceeding 260°C, such as the one you described, lubrication performance may significantly deteriorate.
Furthermore, this series is not formulated like specialized high-temperature lubricants (e.g., fluorine-based, inorganic, or graphite-based), and is not suitable for harsh high-temperature applications, such as in-dryer chain systems.
- Potential issues when used under such conditions: If used in high-temperature environments, the following issues may occur:
- Lubricant burn-off or carbonization, potentially leading to seizing or accelerated wear
- Premature loss of lubrication film, impairing extreme-pressure performance
Residual grease turning into carbon deposits, causing mechanical malfunctions or increased cleaning burden
Recommended product for such high-temperature use:
Unfortunately, none of our LS Bell Hammer series products currently support temperatures approaching 300°C for chain lubrication applications.
However, for high-temperature and high-load environments, we recommend our Bell Hammer Metal Grease, which offers superior heat resistance and extreme-pressure protection.
